Brighton advances in the FA Cup after defeating Liverpool

In the fourth round of the FA Cup, Liverpool faced Brighton & Hove Albion in order to advance to the next round. It was a hard-fought match, but De Zerbi's team won 2-1 thanks to Mitoma and Dunk goals.


At the American Express Community Stadium, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion competed for a place in the next round of the world's oldest domestic cup competition.


The game got off to a fast start, with both teams pressing throughout the first 45 minutes. They actually shared possession, and both clubs created numerous chances. The first half was tense, but performances by Kaoru Mitoma, who went all out to score the game's first goal, and Mo Salah stood out.


After some strong performances throughout the game, Mitoma scored the game-winning goal from inside the box to make it two for Brighton. De Zerbi's team advances to the next round of the FA Cup at a time when the two teams were expected to meet again.
