Keane slams Maguire for 'embarrassing' birthday celebration

Roy Keane has labelled Harry Maguire “embarrassing” for the manner the defender celebrated his goal for England on Friday.

Maguire opened the scoring for the Three Lions inside the World Cup qualifying suit against Albania at Wembley and celebrated by means of putting his fingers to his ears, in what was seemingly a message to the ones who have criticised his latest form.

But Keane was now not happy with the centre-again’s antics, announcing his intention became not enough to compensate for his bad performances at club level.

Speaking on ITV Sport at 1/2-time, ex-United superstar Keane stated: "He thinks he is shutting the critics up. But I assume It's embarrassing.

“He's been a shame the final couple months for Man Utd. He thinks if he ratings there, he's going to shut his critics up. Embarrassing."

"The birthday celebration turned into a knee slide, it just got here certainly to me," the defender told Sky Sports.

"It's an amazing feeling to score for my usa. It wasn't directed at anyone, it simply got here obviously to try this and open the scoring for England and get the critical 3 factors."
