Premier League sides Liverpool and Chelsea will not be able to sign an attacking starlet in January, according to reports.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to add to his forward line in the near future due to two main reasons. The first is that he will be without star players Mo Salah and Sadio Mane during January as a result of the Africa Cup of Nations. Salah will be looking to add to his 43 goals for Egypt, while Mane will represent Senegal.
Klopp is also worried about the long-term future of his favoured trio. Salah and Mane are both 29, while Roberto Firmino is 30.
The capture of Diogo Jota eased Liverpool’s concerns but other players will need to be signed in the next few years.
