Kieran Trippier, ex Atletico participant and present day Newcastle right again, has unveiled his studies with Diego Simeone, announcing that it "was pure emotion".
"There were instances after I've been in mattress, asleep, and he is referred to as me. I've had random texts, calls from him speaking approximately the game and that is wherein he's obsessed. What you see on the touchline, this is what he is is like each day in education", said Trippier for the duration of an interview with 'Radio 5 Live'.
"I've been fortunate with a view to have worked with him due to the fact I've learnt plenty. He would not care how top you're or how massive your name is, you have to run for him and in case you don't you're off", he delivered.
After highlighting his toughness as a supervisor, the English defender also had phrases of reward for him after gambling beneath 'El Cholo' for his short period at Atletico.
"I admire him. Everyone respects him because he respects his gamers. He has quite a few trust in his players. He worked with me one to one so typically and all of that made me mature as someone. Simeone has had on tremendous effect on me", Trippier finished.
