Tottenham join Leeds in race for striker ‘sensation’ bossing La Liga

Tottenham are reportedly prepared to battle Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United for a striker who is shining in La Liga.

The north London side kept hold of Harry Kane this summer, despite his intention of leaving in search of trophies. Man City submitted a bid worth £100m for the England skipper.

It was swiftly rejected as Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy gave Kane a £160m price tag. City failed to return with an improved offer and the star had to admit defeat in his transfer search.

However, he could leave next summer if Tottenham fail to improve this season. That means club chiefs are keeping an eye on potential replacements across Europe.
