Man Utd throw in the towel: Pogba to leave in summer for free

Man Utd have tried to persuade Paul Pogba in every way possible to extend his contract with the Red Devils. However, the midfielder seems determined to leave.

The latest comments from Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, have done nothing other than increase doubts over his future. "There's no news, he just said. A message which seemed to made it clear that he is more out than in at Old Trafford.

And the United board have accepted that they will have to say goodbye to Pogba this summer, according to 'ESPN'. They think it is practically impossible for him to continue.

Despite the fact the January transfer window is just around the corner and the board could still try and cash in on him in January, they will not do that. 'ESPN' reports that United would rather let him go for free at the end of the season because the club believe that sacking him in January would be a setback for the side.
