PSG were knocked out of the Champions League in disappointing fashion. After winning the first leg 1-0 and going 0-1 up in the 2nd leg, Real Madrid went directly to win three-1 with a Benzema hat-trick in the area of 20 minutes.
Mauricio Pochettino on 'RMC Sport', complained about the incident which changed the sport. Karim Benzema scored to make it 1-1 and that put worry in PSG's minds.
"It's unbelievable the foul on Donnarumma that hasn't been overturned by means of the VAR. It's a totally clean foul via Benzema, in my opinion. All angles show that there has been a nasty. I do not understand why there was no VAR at that second," the PSG teach.
Pochettino is clear that that was the turning point: "The tie turned into determined in those 10 minutes. We have been the better group in those two matches. Football is about handling the moments of games nicely and it's proper that we crumbled a piece. It's impossible to provide an explanation for."
Pochettino become very badly laid low with the elimination and he might be sacked by using PSG: "It's not possible to talk about that now. We're very disappointed. We're all going to have get over this because it's a very difficult moment for us," he stated.
"When you concede a goal like we did, the sport changes, the temper inside the stadium does as properly. The enthusiasts were given in the back of their group and everything changed," he concluded.
