Since becoming a member of the membership from Arsenal before the 2020/21 season, Martnez has been the first-choice goalkeeper.
Martnez became a standout goalkeeper in his first season at Villa Park, and he became part of a shielding unit that tied the membership's Premier League document of 15 easy sheets in a season.
In the summer of 2021, he starred for his native Argentina as they won the Copa América.
