Ole hits out at "lies" surrounding Paul Pogba

Ole hits out at "lies" surrounding Paul Pogba

In the aftermath of Manchester United's 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool last weekend, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has slammed the "lies" surrounding Paul Pogba's behavior.

Following a late challenge on Naby Keita, the France international was sent off 15 minutes after entering the game against the Reds.

Pogba, who has been linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford as his contract expires, reportedly apologized to his teammates for his red card but chose to ignore Solskjaer, according to a report.

However, the World Cup champion responded to social media to categorically dispute the claim, and now Man United manager Jose Mourinho has spoken out about the incident.

"We can't accept when lies are made up. Paul told me what he put up out on his social media account. We're better than that, as a group, the culture is better here, the environment is better, when it's blatant lies they've got to stand up and say so. Opinions and reports, fine, but don't makeup lies about me," Solskjaer told reporters.
