Argentina had more ball possessions, attacks, corners etc.. than France during the first half. We can all say that France didn't meet our expectation during the frist half of the game.

Both teams played well during the second half of the world cup final but France played exceptionally well after halftime. The French struggle to control the ball and maintaing ball possession for the first half but that dramatically changed during the second half. After Mbappé scored the first penalty goal, France hope for the world cup was restored. Seems like France just need a goal to build up their momentum and Mbappé delivered exactly that. 
 

Mbappé scored penalty goal during the 78th minute and the second goal with an amazing assist from Thuram during the 80th minute. This made France to equalized with Argentina with the score of 2 - 2.
