Liverpool Agreed On Deal To Sign Cody Gakpo

After PSV Eindhoven announced an agreement with the English giants on Monday, Liverpool appear to have won the race to sign Dutch international forward Cody Gakpo.

"PSV and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement on the proposed transfer of Cody Gakpo," PSV said in a statement.

The transfer fee, according to PSV general manager Marcel Brands, would be a club record for the Dutch club.

The fee could reach 50 million euros ($53 million, £44 million), according to reports.

Gakpo, who scored three goals for the Netherlands at the World Cup, had previously been linked with a move to Manchester United. However, it's seems Liverpool has final won the race.
