Abramovich confirms his membership is up on the market

Roman Abramovich wants to sell Chelsea. The Russian tycoon, controversially related with Vladimir Putin, has stated that his selection to sell the club is "the first-class choice for all people".

"The sale of the Club will not be rapid-tracked but will follow due process. I will no longer be requesting any loans to be repaid. This has in no way been about business nor cash for me, however approximately pure passion for the sport and Club", wrote Abramovich in an open letter posted via Chelsea. 

He defined that he nevertheless remains head of the club at gift, and has given instructions to his team "to set up a charitable basis in which all net proceeds from the sale will be donated".
