Jurgen Klopp gives top Tottenham boss contender ringing endorsement

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has given Graham Potter a huge endorsement after his Brighton side grabbed a 2-2 draw at Anfield on Saturday.

Potter’s stature is growing by the month with his Brighton side flying high in seventh spot after fighting back from 2-0 down to earn a well-deserved point. The 46-year-old has been in charge at Brighton since May 2019 and the steady improvement in the Seagull is there for all to see.

Potter has been mentioned as a contender for the England job in the future. And his credentials have been given a glowing report by Klopp.

But there is a more pressing role to fill after Tottenham decided to call time on Nuno Espirito Santo’s four-month tenure.

The former Wolves boss’ was under close scrutiny by Daniel Levy after Saturday’s defeat to Manchester United. And on Monday morning the club announced that Nuno and his coaching team had been “relieved of their duties”.
