Steffen signs new Man City agreement and vows to push Ederson

Goalkeeper Zack Steffen has signed a new agreement at Manchester City and straight away vowed to preserve the pressure up on Ederson.

United States international Steffen has agreed phrases on a new deal if you want to keep him with City until June 2025.

The 26-year-old joined City in July 2019 and spent the majority of the 2019-20 season on mortgage with Bundesliga club Fortuna Dusseldorf, wherein he stored two clean sheets in 17 appearances, conceding 36 goals and making 64 saves.

Since his go back to City his appearances have in large part been confined to cup competitions and he was an ever-gift inside the side which gained the EFL Cup closing season.

He has had made Premier League appearances for City, conceding one intention and retaining one easy sheet.
