Ex-Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand doesn’t charge Harry Maguire in any respect. Ferdinand has gone as a long way as nominating his own captain.
After joining Man United from Leicester City for a smashing £80 million, Maguire has alas been the problem of effective criticism from United enthusiasts the world over.
The England international arrived at Old Trafford and almost at once got the skipper’s armband after the previous captain Ashley Cole left for Inter Milan in the course of the equal length.
"The reality that he has had the armband has given him that grace. Which it'd do. I suppose he became given it too early," Ferdinand said on Vibe With Five.
"It’s a difficult sufficient job coming into Manchester United, getting your ft below the desk and starting to experience snug as it's far without the added strain of being captain.
"Being captain is a big responsibility, there's records that goes with it, a massive weight for your shoulders.
"You want to experience being there for a time frame to hold that weight. It become more important for Maguire to come in and deal with becoming a Manchester United mainstay than being captain."
Ferdinand turned into then finally requested if no longer Maguire, than who have to be the club’s captain?
"David de Gea could have been my desire due to the time he’s been there and he knows what it takes to win,” Ferdinand stated.
