New Barcelona train Xavi has touched down in Spain for his emotional return to Camp Nou.
After a deal with his former side Al-Sadd became reached on Friday, Barcelona were type sufficient to wait till the early hours of Saturday morning before confirming Xavi as their head train.
Shortly after the statement, Xavi hopped on a flight from Qatar to Spain, and SPORT captured the moment he touched down in his native land.
He arrived along assistants Oscar Hernandez, Sergi Alegre, teach Ivan Torres and analysts David Prats, Toni Lobo and Sergio Garcia. Physiotherapist Carlos Nogueira joins at a later date.
"Dear Culers, I'M COMING HOME," Xavi wrote on Instagram.
"I'm going back to the location that saw me develop up. I go returned to the Club of my LIFE. I can't describe in phrases the emotion I sense to all over again defend this badge that I convey in my coronary heart, to fell once more how Camp Nou shakes from inside, and to hear the cries of encouragement from these superb lovers one again.
"I realize I am coming at a tough time, but I face this challenge with the best of hopes. I will work and combat like one of you to get to the location we deserve. Thanks to Barcelona for trusting me once more, and all the fans who trust I ought to take on this important position.

President Joan Laporta is already planning for Xavi's first switch window in fee and is known to have made plans for 3 new signings.
Among the ones at the wish listing are former Villarreal striker Cedric Bakambu, now of Beijing Sinobo Guoan in the Chinese Super League, and Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman.
